Katharine Blake collaboration

So some time ago I was blogging quite often about my solo material...I have many demos in place...A lot of music scattered without lyrics...and lyrics without music...well one of the first real demos to see the light of day was a song called, "The Heart Drums On". Sort of about the bitter and sweet aspects of life...also inspired by my hard working Scotch/Irish ancestors that I have been researching...They certainly saw hard times...and good times as well...anyhow...I felt the song needed something beyond me...another voice...I had come into contact with vocalist, Kathrine Blake from London. Growing up I loved her project, Miranda Sex Garden. She since has moved on to the Mediaevil Baebes and a quite amazing recent solo effort, Midnight Flowers. Among various other things...She sang on this song and it sounds quite amazing...cannot wait to get a mix going on it. I am quite fortunate to have her singing on this and it certainly paves the way for my first solo record to be something special. I plan on having a few other special guests and friends on the record. Time to get song #2 cracking...stay tuned...

D_composure Digital Catalog FREE!!!!

A few things have hit me today. One: Life is a gift enjoy it. Two: Music is a wonderful gift and I want people to have what I consider to be my life's work. The industry has taken a huge hit as have the artists. I'm giving away all of D_composure's digital catalog at http://dcomposure.com Selling limited edition physical copies online and at shows. People that love the band will come out and support. This way we can share and get our music in the hands of everyone and still have cool merchandise for sale for the people that want to (and can afford) support. These are troubled times for money in this world and I feel like my music is doing no good to anyone sitting in a digital store where no one wants to buy anything anyhow. So enjoy D_composure's music for FREE. Ryan and I will continue to make music with this project and eventually get playing shows again...as a duo and collaborating with friends. I listened to the Future Wave album from start to finish the other day and realized that we stopped playing after it's release. I am very proud of that record and no one has really even heard it. Now, no one has any excuse to not check it out. We do want to communicate with friends, family and fans so an Email is all we ask. Writing for the Dps Insider Blog Now

new D_comp in the works...

working on some new D_composure ideas....with a new single tearing up national TV...we really think that it is time to get the ball rolling with D_composure....new year...new focus...and Ryan and I miss making noise....so it begins...our new site will be launching in the next 24 to 48 hours at http://dcomposure.com Super excited about that...It is a very simple and streamlined way to interact with people directly with our music...I am loving it...anyhow...stay tuned...
