New Life

Life has certainly been interesting the last few years. Covid created this vacuum of anxiety and isolation that I was able to remain creative in. Still dealing with the lasting effects of covid-19 after having it in April 2022. While difficult, I have powered through to be supportive for my wife and her recent diagnosis of breast cancer. She has been so strong and it has been inspiring. In light of this, we made some life changes for the better. Feeling healthy and invigorated at the moment. So this image and new website represents change for me personally. I am ready to be the person I need to be for myself and more importantly, my loving wife and children. So where does music fit into this?

Up until my wife’s diagnosis, I was dealing with those ugly lasting effects of covid-19. In that period, I explored a dark theme of hunger. Our need to constantly consume. I went deep into that theme and quite honestly, lost myself in it. I created many tunes. A few of which might see the light of day as they feature some wonderful collaborations. But ultimately, these tunes are not the songs I need to release right now.

Fast forward a few months, I found a part of me that I never knew existed. Feels good to say that. Anyhow, I wrote a few tunes that are more minimal in arrangement. To my surprise, they walk the line of this theme but in the light I am currently shining. The hunter gatherer looking for life in the dirt. Heart in the moment. As I explore, I will be sharing imagery as it feels right. More coming. Stay tuned and hope you enjoy the output over the next year.
